LeafThru

LeafThru

macOS 14.0+ PDF Tool Screen Capture

Capture reading app pages automatically and convert to PDF

A macOS utility that automatically captures screens of reading apps such as e-book readers or browser-based viewers page by page, then converts the captures into a single PDF. It eliminates the need to take screenshots manually, letting you create a complete PDF of any book. Supports automatic page-turn simulation, capture region auto-detection, and page range selection.

Turn reading app pages into a PDF.

Auto-capture, auto page-turn, and PDF export — all in one.

Automatic page capture

Captures reading app screens page by page automatically. No need to take screenshots manually — just specify the page range and let LeafThru handle the rest.

Auto region detection

Automatically detects the content area of the target app's window and displays a selection overlay. Supports manual fine-tuning by drag or arrow keys at 1 px precision.

Automatic page turning

Simulates keyboard page-turn actions to advance through pages during capture. Supports right-to-left and left-to-right binding directions, and a configurable wait interval between turns.

Scan settings

Configure start and end pages, wait interval (ms), and output folder. Increasing the interval stabilises captures when page-turn animations are slow.

PDF export

One click converts all captured images into a PDF after scanning. The PDF is saved to your Desktop and the original image folder is moved to the Trash.
